With the aim of providing higher education with high quality education to the local community in Tokapal block of tribal dominated bastar district , on 20th may 2013, government of Chhattisgarh has established the Govt. Naveen College Tokapal . this college is affiliated to shaheed Mahendra Karma University [ Earlier it was with Bastar university] since its inception.
From the beginning it was temporarily operated in the building of Govt. Boys Higher Secondary school and is being operated on 26th January 2018 in its newly constructed grand spacious building with all facilities. In the year 2013 the faculty of arts, science and commerce is run. In which all the subjects of Chemistry, botany, zoology, commerce including history, economics, Hindi, sociology, English. Physics Math and political science have been started from the session 2018-19. The college has a huge campus of 23.32 acres in which facility of sports like kabaddi, cricket, kho-kho volley ball and badminton. NSS helps the students to serve the nation and society. We are trying our level best to opt the hostel facility and staff quarters. We have disciplined students and dedicated staff to whom we call them our energy.
